Dr. Katie Williams

Dr. Katie Williams is a registered nutritionist and has worked in the equine feed industry for mroe than 25 years where her responsibilities include product development, legal compliance, R&D projects as well as providing technical support to key accounts including the Royal Studs. Katie completed her PhD in Veterinary Medicine Research at the University of Glasgow in 2023. Her current research interests include peri-operative nutrition, nutrition in the veterinary curriculum and sustainability in the feed industry. Katie currently supervises Masters and PhD students at the University of Glasgow and Anglia Ruskin University. Katie is Vice-Chair of the BETA Feed Committee and is leading BETA’s initiative to promote the work of equine nutritionists.
